This piece is about two worlds, two realms, and the moving from one to the other. Still carrying lots of luggage but with hope of a better future.
 
Ink has become my favourite medium. As with watercolour, I work here with unpredictability and risk. These two factors require the artist's attentive presence but also a sense of openness to whatever comes up. Art-making becomes a playful dialogue between the mind and what is happening.
